Parking Enforcement

Downtown parking is limited to 90 minutes from 9 am to 6 pm. The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for monitoring the timed parking zones (Main Street, 1st Street and the 100 blocks of Collins, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th Avenues. The timed parking zones are marked with 90 minute parking signs. There is parallel parking on the north side of Main St and angle parking on the Avenues and 1st Street of the downtown area.

There is all day parking on the south side of West Main Street and the south side of 1^st Street.

The Parking Enforcement Officer also assists with and monitors residential areas for extended parking violations and abandoned vehicles.

Reporting violations in the residential area are welcomed and normally “called in” by the residents.
