Four Mandan Police Officers represent the Community Engagement Response Team (CERT) and are supervised by the Support Services Sergeant and Lieutenant. The team was developed to increase contact with our citizens and businesses in a positive manner. CERT officers are frequently involved in Public Events, Speaking Engagements, Crime Prevention Training, and other special enforcement assignments. All members of CERT are sworn police officers who have the ability to fill shift shortages in the Patrol Division and School Resource Officer Program.
